Saturday, August 26th 2023

10am: Boarding for RhineCruise

10:30am: The Cruise begins :)

- Rhine cruise in the "Upper Middle Rhine Valley" (Unesco World Heritage Site)

- Music, Fun, AIESEC Dances

- Child care

3:30pm: Return to Castle Stahleck (where we stay)

4pm: Tea/Coffee time with a one-of-a-kind view overlooking the beautiful Rhine Valley

- Fun program for the kids

5pm: AIESEC Alumni Keynote by Daniela Mohaupt: "for UNICEF in Afghanistan" 
Daniela talks about her humanitarian mission in Afghanistan in 2022: Find all open schools, register all 193,000 teachers in the country and pay them an emergency stipend to keep them teaching. Do this in a country under sanctions, without a functioning banking system, dangerous roads and the lack of basic information technology. Daniela takes us on this incredible journey into the mountains and the culture of Afghanistan and shows us what the world community is doing to enable education - especially for girls - against all odds.

Where you'll stay: A real castle - Burg „Stahleck“

The beautiful castle is an upscale youth hostel suited for every age. There is a limited number of rooms with 2 or 4 beds. The rooms with more than 4 beds, however, are comfy and equipped. Please note that some rooms do not have an en-suite bathroom. You can alternatively choose to stay at a local hotel or B&B in Bacharach, in which case you have to select the "Rhine Cruise and Party only" option when signing up for the weekend.

• Cars for OC (7-9 seats, vans, cars for shuttling)
• GiveAways for Welcome Packages and Tombola (part of the Rhine Cruise on Saturday!)

Donations in money

• if you choose to donate money, you will, of course, receive a donation receipt
• you can also choose to pay for some bills like Catering, fuel, OC-presents, insurance, child care, procurements for the cocktail bar for Saturday night's party

Data processing

With the registration I agree that my given data will be processed by the AAG for the event organization. First name, last name, LC, place of residence will be made available to participants e.g. for the purpose of forming carpools. Data will not be made available to sponsors.

Please note that this event is a private, non-commercial event of AIESEC Alumni Germany e.V. & AIESEC Alumni Networking e.V.. Any liability on the part of the organizers is excluded. Your participation is at your own risk.

Cancellation of the ticket is unfortunately not possible. In case of no-show, the participation fees and any costs associated with the booking will not be refunded. However, you can name a substitute person who will take part in the Rhine cruise on your behalf.

Children under 4 years of age can participate free of charge, children between 4 and 12 years of age can be registered via the "children's rate". Teenagers 13-18 please register seperately in the youth tarrif.
