Contribution regulations

These contribution regulations are not part of the statutes.
The contribution regulations may only be amended by the general assembly, in accordance with Art. 8 of the statutes. Amendments generally take effect from 1 January of the following year, unless the general assembly resolves otherwise.
All ordinary members are obliged to pay membership fees. Honorary members are exempt from this obligation pursuant to Art. 26 of the statutes.

The regular membership fee amounts to at least €60.00 per year.
For members up to the age of 30, the reduced membership fee amounts to at least €5.00 per year.
The membership fee may be voluntarily increased by the member.

In individual cases of financial hardship, the board may reduce, defer or waive a member's fee.

The fee is generally paid by SEPA direct debit. Members should provide a SEPA direct debit mandate.
The fee is generally due on 1 January of the financial year.
Collection under the SEPA procedure generally takes place in the fourth quarter for the current financial year. Collection is announced two weeks in advance by sending a fee invoice to the last known email address. If the collection fails, the member is automatically in default. Bank charges caused by a failed collection are to be borne by the member concerned.
If a member does not participate in the SEPA direct debit procedure, it must bear any bank charges beyond those of the SEPA direct debit procedure itself. For timely payment of the fee, what matters is the timely receipt on the association's account, at the latest by 1 March. If the fee has not been received in the association's account by this date, the member is automatically in default.

These contribution regulations enter into force on 1 January 2026.
